- How is leave earned?
- Under Article 60 of the Labor Standards Act, one paid day generally accrues for each fully attended month before the first anniversary, up to 11 days. After a year with at least 80% attendance, 15 days may accrue; extra days are added for longer service, up to 25.
- What does fiscal-year basis mean?
- It models a company granting leave on January 1. The first grant is prorated for service during the hiring year. Employers may round differently, so compare with your company records.
- Is this a legal determination?
- No. This is an estimate for reference. Rules differ for workplaces with fewer than five regular employees, and absence or leave may change accrual.
